Cliffs Viewpoint Trail
A short uphill walk to the mirador above Los Gigantes — the best elevated view of the cliffs and the only one most visitors miss.
The most accessible walk from Los Gigantes. It follows the coast south from the marina along a concrete and stone path, past a series of natural rock pools and small coves, with the cliffs shrinking behind you as you go.
Start at the marina and follow the waterfront path heading south. The path is wide and flat for the first kilometre, then narrows into a rougher track over lava rock. The turnaround point is a small secluded beach at about 2km — you can swim here if the swell is calm.
The rock pools hold starfish, small fish, and the occasional octopus. The water clarity here is exceptional — worth stopping to look down even if you’re not swimming. On a clear morning you can see La Gomera from the southern tip of the path.
